Structured Communications are an independent telecommunications provider in the South East of England, specialising in a service-focused approach for bespoke communications. Established in 2011, they have grown quickly to hold prestigious clients in specific service industries.

THE CLIENT BRIEF

When we first spoke with Structured Communications, they were not attracting any new business through their website, and they were disappointed with the lack of tangible strategy for growth through the website.

The challenge was to attract a niche audience to the website that does not typically purchase services online from unknown companies. To do this, we required a content strategy that targeted pain points and problems that the target niche would search for a resolution.

 

THE STRATEGY

Research Phase

The top priority was identifying the core audience needs and what information they were searching for online. We were looking at not only what they were searching for, but how we could provide content that would provide users with what they were looking for in a way that incentivised conversion.

Implementation Phase

Our strategy was centred around focused longtail search terms, which meant producing extremely high-quality informational content targeted at business managers looking for new telecoms services. We needed backlinks alongside this, so with every piece of content created, we designed bespoke infographics to help educate our audience on the products and services.

Growth Phase

After 12 months we had seen a big increase in traffic and leads from organic search. The challenge was still to make this traffic count in a more meaningful way. With traffic continuing to grow we turned our attention to the conversion rate of the website, so we could turn it into revenue for the business.
